The Zones

What's on?

The event will be divided into ‘Zones’, each with its own focus: Culture, Workshop, Activities, Food and a central stage to join them. There will be a rotation of performers and artists on the central stage that will demonstrate a range of visual/ sign language art, short sketches of poetry, comedy and drama. The food zone will have a range of national foods and will, ideally, be run by deaf people or sign language users. Families will feel part of the event; they can bring their children and have BBQ. The cultural zone will be made up of artists displaying their work and interaction, using signed languages. The workshop zone will engage in knowledge exchange and language games, such as ‘Deaf History in Sussex’.

Information on the programme will be found here as the details come through.
