Nice to see Deaf kids chatting to each other. Shame that Deaf kids in mainstream schools may feel isolated, with no peer support. Also with the demise of Teachers of Deaf, means difficult times ahead.

I really enjoyed watching this video, it was good to see how they can express themselves and give out their views on different issues. It was sad to see the school close, and how it has affected the teenagers. I sincerely hope they have moved on to something positive and do well with their future careers.

Excellent video. It was a shame that ex-pupils weren't allowed to watch the film at the final closure reunion last summer (interfering governors!). We all share their sadness and pray for their future. Best wishes, Cliff.

What a great video, I hope it shows what a great school has gone to waste! It really is places like Ovingdean that make such a difference to the lives of young Deaf people. Great to see them all truly expressing how they feel. Lets hope the government see this before they decide to close down another school! I wish all the young people in that clip the brightest futures!

Such wonderful optimism and confidence from the young people in this film and so sad their school has closed. Mainstreaming sounds a good thing but in reality, as they say it is stressful and deaf children are at risk of bullying.
