Deaf Diaspora! event is a cultural festival celebrating our pride in the Deaf and Sign Language community. This is being held on the same day as other countries in the world, where similar events will be held, such as lobbies, events and festivals. This event is traditionally held on the last Saturday in September every year, an throughout the world.
The event will be made up of zones, including:
- Deaf Culture
- Arts (performances, workshops, activities)
- Food
- Exhibitions
We aim to welcome families and friends from the UK and worldwide.
The evening entertainment (for over 18s) will take part in a Brighton Pier, the evening will include short Deaf film clips, sign poetry and Deaf DJ music. It will start at 7pm onwards.
